The check in and out was very quick and friendly. Self parking is available for $14 a day, but they were full. We paid $22 for a day of Valet parking. This property used to be the dormitories for Tulane Medica School/University and were damaged during Katina. Clarion has spent and is spending a lot of money to renovate and upgrade this property. Good location, very friendly and helpful staff, good price. Clean and welcoming. Breakfast wasn't up to much; security was excellent. Parking £14 per day, right next door to the hotel, and very secure, but we picked up a coupon at the tourist information office, and got free parking. Excellent business center. more

I stayed at the Clarion during the Essence Music Festival. The room was very large. The beds were very comfortable. They had a full hot buffet on Sat. and Sun.
