After being on the crowded and hectic streets of the French Quarter it was such a pleasure to open the gate and go through to the quietude of the courtyard. Seeing Chuck was a bonus. He was helpful...even drove with my husband to find the parking place. He was always hospitable and seemed glad to see everyone who was a... More

The reviews you've read about Bon Maison are quite accurate. My partner and I stayed in unit B - the closest room to the main gate - and, gulp . . . . Bourbon Street. If you're intent to hang out in your room and watch TV at night, this isn't the best room choice - stay in one of... More

The Bon Maison Guest House, located in the heart of New Orleans' French Quarter, offers a nice combination of historic charm, great location, and value for travelers wanting to spend some time in this part of New Orleans. First, the location: anyone who has spent time on Bourbon Street might be justified in thinking you would have to be out... More

My wife and I stayed with some friends in the two bedroom suite. We stayed during French Quarter Fest. We travel to Nola a couple times a year, and might have found our new favorite place to stay. When we arrived, Chuck greeted us and gave us a tour. He answered all the question we had, and made us fill... More

We just returned from staying at Bon Maison Guest House for 4 nights and loved it! In fact, I'm a bit hesitant to write this review because we want to stay there again... here's hoping that you don't book our next Bon Maison dates before we do. :) We stayed in the Victorian Suite and our friend stayed in one... I recently stayed at the Bon Maison and cannot stop talking about how amazing it was. I was a little weary at what I would be getting at such a great price but was completely satisfied with everything, The location is perfect, right on Bourbon but far enough away that you get peace and quiet at night. Chuck and Butch... More

That being said this is still Bourbon St after all. It's just a block from the edge of the action. The room we were in was on the street but there are no windows and shutters on the door. You are likely to still hear the random motorbike or drunk serenading his imaginary girlfriend but for $115 tax INCLUDED you... More

My wife and I stayed here March 14-19. While Bourbon Street was crowded and noisy. Bon Maison is quiet and safe because its rooms open onto an inner courtyard accessible through a locked gate, and complete with tame birds and a charming fountain. Chuck was friendly and hospitable, and even hand-delivered a package I'd had shipped there before I'd even... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here in December of 2012 on a 5 day trip to New Orleans. This was our first time in New Orleans, and we didn't really realize how LOUD Bourbon Street can be at night! Amazingly, this hotel is situated just far enough past the real hustle and bustle of Bourbon Street, but not so far... More

We visted NOLA a couple of years ago and on one of our none too steady 'walks' down Bourbon Street we spotted Bon Maison. We thought it looked like an interesting place to stay and in an uncharacteristically clever moment we took a couple of photos to remind us. We are so pleased that we did as we have just... More
