We had an enjoyable stay at Hotel Monteleone. The Carousel Bar was unique and fun. We were in walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go, including Cafe du Monde for breakfast! The room was smaller than a typical chain room, but updated and very nice. The only complaint is how loud it was outside the hotel until very late... More

I recently stayed at the Hotel Monteleone for a conference. From the minute I walked through the doors until I left, I felt like a pampered guest not just a customer. The food was extraordinary and service friendly and very attentive. (The gumbo must be tried!) I also ordered room service and found the same to be true. The room... More

My wife and I stayed here for one night, the last night of our trip, as a special treat. The lobby is gorgeous, and check-in was prompt. We had no further interaction with the operations staff. I found our room to be relatively small. The bathroom walls were covered in acryllic mirrors, right out of the late 80s. It looked... More

We stayed at this lovely hotel for two nights (Wed-Thu) the 1st week in January, so the Quarter was not crazy which was a plus for us. I went to school in NOLA and wanted to get back there with my husband who had never been. I wanted a hotel in the Quarter which had the New Orleans charm but... More

This hotel is beautiful!!! Dripping with old Southern charm and exquisitely maintained. The staff welcomes guests like family, and the rooms are gorgeous. The hotel's location is perhaps one of the best in town - walking distance to everything in the French Quarter, CBD, Treme, etc. I look forward to my next stay here. More

The first thing I will say is that the hotel is beautiful. My room was a small corner room which I loved and it was on the 11th floor. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I had breakfast there only one time, the reason is that it was almost $20.00 and the eggs were old and nasty, in fact,... More

Let me begin by saying that I love the Monteleone. Its a wonderful old hotel in the heart of the Quarter with a lot of history, and ,most importantly, it houses the Carousel Bar which is truly unique. With New Orleans being my wife's native city ( and me having lived there off/on for many years) we visit quite frequently... More

This hotel is located on a nice street close to downtown, Bourbon St, the river and the stadium. My room looked at a wall, but it had a fridge and the bathroom was fine. The spa was very nice. Good workout room - small but enogh stuff and a great view. Breakfast buffet was very good, and while the restaurants... More

Stayed here for a 3 day business trip. The location is ideal for walking around, taking in the shops and galleries down Royal Street then going a block over for fun of Bourbon St. You are also a few minutes walk from the Central Business District. Also like that a Walgreen's is right across the street. The property itself is... More
