The location is about equdistant from Tulane and the French Quarter. It is a short streetcar ride from either. My experience with this chain has been consistently good. The service is limited but perfectly adequate.

We have stayed at the Hampton Inn on St. Charles Avenue several times. Each and every time has been a great experience! The rooms are always comfortable and clean; the staff and management of the hotel are always friendly and ready to be of assistance. Also, this great location provides quick access to local favorite spots.

We, along with relatives, enjoyed our stay at the Garden District New Orleans Hampton. The street car line runs in front of the hotel and it's only ten minutes to the French Quarter. The staff is most helpful and all of the amenities one expects are available.

Clean nice quiet hotel away from French Quarter craziness. Beautiful area close to Tulane University. Old style A/C in rooms though which can be noisy. Also could hear the lady in the next room talking on the phone. Overall a pretty good experience if only for noisy guests slamming doors at past midnight and 5h00 am ...

This Hampton is in a good locale near Tulane, with enjoyable trolley service to Tulane and into French Quarter. Rooms were good, though not exactly spacious. Staff were very helpful. Very good breakfast provisions. Would certainly use this Hampton again for value and convenience.

We often come to New Orleans to visit our son at college and have found the accommodations and staff to be nothing short of excellent. A fine location for the property, too. Convenient to street car and everythin else.

We had a great time at the Hampton Inn-St. Charles-Garden District. The trolley right in front of the hotel was great. The food, front desk help, comfort of the room and security were all great. We would highly recommend this hotel. Beautiful place to stay.
