This is an old fashioned inn in the centre of the village. The bar with open fire, comfortable settees and friendly service is the best bit of the hotel. The restaurant serves excellent Austrian food, which is particularly good for residents because there are extras like a buffet for residents. Our double room was a good size with a comfortable... we enjoyed our stay at Hotel Orgler very much. The hotel is centrally located, and is very charming in style. The staff was very helpful and friendly, with top rate customer service from the moment we booked the reservation until we left the hotel. The lady at the reception deserves praise for her attentiveness. The food was of excellent quality,... More

My husband, I and my 8 year old son arrived at Hotel Orgler on 29th January 2012 to spend New Year week. We had booked a last minute break at a discounted price with Thomson Travel and were therefore not expecting too much, but were looking forward to the skiing. As part of the reduced rate we had to accept... More

This is a very traditional Austrian gasthof style hotel - It has charm and individuality though anybody expecting a typical four star experience may be disappointed. The food varies in quality from the delicious and well made to the distinctly dodgy - don't go for the vegetarian option! The chef if heavy on the salt - but the meat dishes... More

our first visit was to marry in the town. the hotel family Renz and staff treated us like family. it's an old fashioned hotel, kept in traditional style and i wouldn't have wanted it any other way. the food is to die for, very high quality. in addition, our wedding food was magnificent. it's centrally located for ski, ice climb,... This is a lovely traditional Austrian Hotel with a warm welcome from hosts, the Renz family. Even though we booked a basic room it was very spacious with a separate seating area with settee. Food was very good with an enormous selection at breakfast and the staff were very friendy and willing to alter the menu to cater for special... More

Stopped off in Kaprun for a visit and needed a meal. The Orgler attracted us due to its nice location and beautiful outside dining area. The waiter service was excellent who made us feel very welcome and explained the menu in full. Service was quick, food quality excellent and good value. Lovely place to sit out and enjoy the views... Great food - the Kaiserschmarm was wonderful. They have an interesting menu which incorporates both local and international food. Very handy for the ski piste in winter. At the top of the road is a wonderful castle and also a motor museum

First impressions were that our room in the hotel was a bit dated and tired. Our room didn't have a balcony and a few tiles were hanging off the bath panel in the bathroom. However, other than this we really enjoyed our stay in the Orgler. The place is clean, the food was great (we went half board) and the... More
