We are just back from a trip to Mayrhofen and Zell am See in Austria. The first week was spent in the Alpendomizil Neuhaus and it really is a very friendly and welcoming hotel. We arrived late, around 10pm but were immediately offered food once we had settled into our room. We had booked a family room in the main... More

Enormous, meandering hotel. Seems to have come together out of a few separate buildings, yet it works well. Quirky interior, but lots of lovely big couches to sink into in the lobby at night, great spot to enjoy a nice drink and the live entertainment. Dinner was great, plenty to eat, and each night was different. Generally a set menu,... More

I stayed in a single room, number 254, in the Landhaus Neuhaus annex. The room was very small, fitting a bed, cupboard and desk, but not much else, and the furnishings were very outdated. That didn't worry me. What was concerning is that that side of the Neuhaus annex overlooks a pig barn. If at night you like to open... More

I visited the Neuhaus with my young (7 yo) daughter. First impressions were not great as it is a large hotel occupying several buildings and I was in the St Joseph annex. However, after I got used to the Austrian style I loved it. It is also just at the end of the main drag off the Market Square, which... More

Before I describe the litany of events which marred what had the potential to be an excellant holiday I would like to make it very clear - I am not in the habit of complaining about hotels/holidays. We arrived early @ the hotel after a 3 hour transfer time. I had read previous reviews but as always I was prepared... More

Great for skiing with access to the ski bus a few metres away.Excellent range of... More

I've been to Neuhaus 2 times in a row in 2009 and 2010. I loved it the first time because of it's uniqueness and warmness, as you won't be able to find and other hotel like that with angels on the windows during christmas and new year with a warm combination of dark and light colours. But when I've been... More
