The owners and staff looked after us very well, including guidance on where to ski / sledge etc and made phone calls on our behalf to check opening times. The story of today’s Hotel Altenburg traces back to the 16th century, and is in the possession of the Wishaber-Stickler family since 1928. Since then,the building and it's annex have been enlarged and reconstructed with both, love and personal commitment, so that you can pass your vacation in an athmosphere full of tradition and cosiness. Our hotel is situated in the centre of Mutters and near the Tyrolean capital Innsbruck, that is easily reachable by street car. The hotel is consisting of two buildings, where you can find a winter garden with internet access, a cosy fire place hall with a bar, a restaurant with it's breathtaking Alpine views, indoor swimming pool, sauna and steambath.
