We travelled to St. Anton from Newport, Rhode Island. As a Cornell Hotel School graduate and 40 year veteran of the hospitality industry I feel that I am very qualified to judge other hospitality establishments. The Sporthotel staff were the epitome of old fashioned "Mein Host"mentality......very friendly, knowledgable and welcoming. We had a group of 9 people and everyone felt... More

This is the ideal spot for a First class ski vacation! The rooms are spacious, well-appointed and spotless. Our package was half-board and included a beautiful spread at Breakfast with delicious hot and cold items - something for every taste! The four course dinner was absolutely delicious with several choices. Taste and presentation was fantastic! Daniella at the bar was... More

Lovely friendly, convenient hotel, with brilliant steakhouse. I had a great holiday in St Anton again this year. Skiing was brilliant, fresh powder snow. Après ski was very lively, Taps bar and mooservirt in particular. Excellent overall resort.

Spent a week here with friends on half board. Can't fault the hotel in any respect as traditional Tyrolean. Staff were all really helpful. Great location in the centre, food excellent and much better than we expected with plenty choice but one tip if you're a light sleeper is to get a room at the rear to avoid potential street... More

Central location, well organised, excellent food. We stayed a week on half board. Breakfast was buffet style uk or continental, freshly squeezed orange juice, individual teapots, cannot fault the quality or diversity. Evening meals were 5 courses every night, again very high quality. The hotel also organised ski passes at a preferential rate and arranged ski and boot storage. Again... More

A group of 4 of us have just returned from our 5th visit to St Anton. This was our first stay at the sporthotel. The location couldn't be better - slap bang in the middle of Dorfstrasse opposite the Piccadilly/Post Keller (a bit too convenient if anything!!). It is possible to leave skis and boots at the bottom of the... More

Spent a week here catching up with son who was working in St Anton. Facilities are great, half board includes comprehensive full breakfast and five course evening meal, which was excellent. Room was very spacious and comfortable, serviced daily. Hotel facilities good. Staff very helpful. Helen & John (From Sydney Australia )

Typical Austrian wintersport-hotel. Lots and lots of woods used for the interior, colorful "worn" carpets, employees serving food in dirndls and an old lady playing the piano in the evening. If I had to stay here during the summer I would cry but in the cold and in the snow it's a perfect match. The rooms are big and spacious,... More

This is a brilliant traditional Austrian hotel. The food is all freshly cooked event though we were on a coach tour. This hotel accomodates a lot of coaches however they overlap so there is never any overcrowding at mealtimes. The hotel also caters for the public but there is no intrusion on either side. The breakfast is a traditional continental... More

We stayed here as a group of 4 men for a weeks ski trip. We found the rooms very comfortable but a little bit dated. In the main the staff were very helpful (although the barmaid could be a bit grumpy). The food was always excellent with plenty of choice the hotel bar was always lively after dinner. The hotel...
