This was a no frills, overnight hotel stay where I needed to be close to downtown Seattle. The front desk staff was helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the internet worked. One downside is that the room temperature was not adjustable, and there were no extra linens or blankets to put on the bed. The chairs in the room were very worn, but everything worked. The internet service will bounce you off every couple of hours and you have to log in again. Also, there was no in-room coffee, but there was a great coffee shop downstairs off the lobby. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for an inexpensive, no frills stay that is comfortable and clean.

Great location, clean room and comfortable bed. Toiletries provided in bathroom but safe and tea and coffee making facilities in the room would have been a nice touch also. Owner was very brusk at check in and there was no welcoming smile or "welcome to the Moore/Seattle" just, "can I have your credit card?"and concerned on getting signature on form to agree no smoking in room and 'no visitors' as well as reiterating it verbally during check in. Also very keen to get $100 deposit for incidentals when they don't offer any incidentals! Claw foot bath tub is a nice touch as were the tiles grab rail would have been nice to help getting in and out of bath to shower, shower rail was loose. Decor overall very dated in corridor and my room, not at all like the photos on the website so not sure if in process of refurbishment. Reception a bit bleak and not very welcoming. I was on 6th floor but on one evening there was a loud concert on in the theatre attached, sounded like I was directly over it, very noisy. Overall okay if you just want a clean bed for the night in downtown, however, $140 per night was expensive compared to night at London Heathrow for £106 where room had t/c facilities, safe, iron and ironing board and in house restaurant. Just a lot for what you got.

Location is fantastic: just a few blocks from Pike Place and the waterfront, a 5-minute walk to Seattle Center, and two blocks from the nearest Link station (Westlake Station) to take you directly to SeaTac airport (about a 30-40min ride) or anywhere else you'd like to go in the metro area. Being able to store luggage behind the desk before check-in (we arrived around 1pm) and after checkout (we didn't fly out til mid-afternoon) was a huge plus and super convenient. Location feels safe & secure. In-room accommodations were pretty basic: just the bed, a few furniture pieces & a small TV, blank white walls, and not much else. But for travelers who don't need much other than a place to crash while exploring, it served that purpose just fine. Quiet stay, comfortable bed. Staff very accommodating & friendly.

Booked two rooms as we were seeing a show at the theater and thought it would be great to be in such close proximity. The rooms were dirty and the hotel itself (at least our floors/rooms!) extremely dilapidated. It was 50 degrees out and we were told that they ‘hadn’t turned the heat on yet’, and were given an extra blanket. We left and found other accommodations a few blocks away. It was worth losing the money NOT to have to stay at the Moore.

The hotel is in a beautiful building but is rather faded inside now. The location is great with Pikes Market, a metro station, shops and waterfront all minutes walk away. The staff are friendly and helpful. Everywhere is very clean and the beds are comfortable. So if you’re after a basic place to sleep whilst exploring central Seattle or going to a gig at the Moore theatre then it’s absolutely fine

Centrally located and very pretty in general. Unfortunately, the shower was so dirty, we were afraid to take a shower. There was soap scum around the tub from the previous occupant . There were open toiletries from the previous guests still in the bathroom. I do not believe the room was cleaned between stays. Also, the restaurant and lounge were not open. This was disappointing. The hotel itself was charming, but I don’t think I’d stay here again because of the cleanliness.

I was here for one night and needed an inexpensive place to stay. This hotel was seemingly a great choice with one issue that I had that may or may not have been an exceptional event. First off the location of this hotel is excellent. Everything is within walking distance and the famed market is just down the street. Second, the hotel was clean and I had great bed linens. The room was old and dated but I didn't mind this at all. Also there was no A/C which also wasn't an issue since I could open the window and get the lovely Seattle sea breeze. My issue was that while this location is seemingly quiet during the day, in the evening, on the evening I was staying there, the street outside was anything but quiet. It started with apparently a street race right outside my window. Loud un-mufflered cars spinning tires went on an on along with a giant parade of what seemed like joy riders. And then came the music. Someone with a very loud car stereo parked in front of the hotel and played music for at least 30 minutes. The whole event woke me up from a lovely sleep and ruined my night from that point forward. If you sty here, be safe and ask for a room that isn't facing the street! I'm sure the staff will be accommodating since they were great when I was there.

Great value and great location. It's also clean, and I felt safe there. This is by no means a luxury hotel, but it's a great deal. It's in a fantastic location and the price is good. There's no AC at this place - there are fans in available in the rooms, and they make all that abundantly clear before you make a reservation. There's a small adjoining café and I think there's a restaurant on the other side - I didn't try either during my two day stay so I can't comment on those.

The hotel shows better on the website than in reality. Concerning the reaction of the lady at the desk, they do not like customers. The shower on the rooms changes from very cold to very hold. This is dangerous for children. We were there during a heath wave. As there is no airconditioning the rooms were above 33 degrees. Even in the night. The beds were ok.

Quaint hotel with great coffee shop. Location was great for pikes market. Staff were professional and very helpful. Theater next door but no performance our day. Old fashioned claw bathtub. Very clean. I would recommend this hotel. No air conditioner but the fan sufficed.
