The location is great, easy access to downtown amenities and the I5. The room is too cold, you can turn the a/c but it gets too warm fast and its loud. There is no heat in the bathroom. Not all rooms has IpodDoc, I request it and it was delivered to my room. The design of the room is great... More

it has a perfect location in downtown Seattle. Within two blocks, we could get to Nordstrom, Macy's and Westlake center. Safe neighborhood and a comfort room(Artist King). Want to visit again. Area recommendations Downtown Seattle is a blast! More

My husband and I stayed here last weekend for our anniversary and thought it was nice. It's a cool, stylish hotel that's not self-important. Small room and really compact bathroom. My husband said the shower was too small and the shower curtain kept clinging to him. I had a hard time regulating the temperature; it seemed like it was too... More

Dear dobie397 (Kirkland, Washington), Thank you for the feedback and we are delighted to learn you enjoyed your visit at the Hotel Max. I apologize for the issues with the water temperature and shower liner. We will review both issues, I suspect we need to replace the liners with ones that have weights in the bottom. We hope you will... More

Well, there's not way to beat this location. Minutes to walk most anywhere. A block from Nordstroms and the monorail, and a few more to Pike Place. Very trendy boutique type hotel. Wonderful ambience, amenities and furnishings. Bed was great. This would be 5 stars but the bathrooms are a bit small. OK, they're small. Nice... but small. Aveeno tolitries,... More

This has become our go-to hotel in Seattle and I wish there was a similar place everywhere we travel. The staff, notably Topher for us, go out of there way to accommodate you, find you the best rate or package, advise you on whats going on in town, and will upgrade you when they can. From the doorman to front... More

I've stayed at Hotel Max 4 or 5 times within the last few years. Good location, clean, excellent value at around $100 (and quite often they have a promo). It is modern and has lots of cool factor, and I am pleased to say that unlike similar places, the staff has no hipper-than-thau attitude; they've always been kind and responsive.... More

2011 was my third Christmas stay at the Hotel Max. They offer free wifi, half-off valet parking, and incredibly reasonable room rates around Christmas. I have a favorite room, and they have let me have it four times in a row! I stay at the Hotel Max because I can walk to Pike's Market, the EMP, Seattle Center, the Space... More

I found out about Hotel Max through a coupon deal. I would definitely return, the artwork and decor alone is great, and the staff were nice, courteous and helpful. The location is great, right downtown. We didn't get a chance to go to the restaurant, but there were lots of great restaurants, bars, galleries and shopping within walking distance. The... More

We recently stayed at this hotel and for the price point, the place is fabulous! Rooms are around $100 a night, and have a cool and artsy modern European feel to them. The rooms are small and the bathrooms are even small, but again, reminds me of staying in a European hotel. VERY clean with modern and artsy colors and... More

I was looking for a 3 star hotel within walking distance of the Seattle sites. I chose Hotel Max due to the rank/price ratio. I knew ahead of time about the valet parking fee. I asked about the wi-fi fee and was immediately offered a comp pass. The Queen room is small with a tiny bathroom that was as big... More
