I loved this place. The staff was super friendly and the place was super clean. Nice private bathrooms with wonderful free food. Thank you Rodney for your hard work and expertise in cooking. Thank you Colleen for making the front desk a pleasant experience. This Hostel is a very professional and well run organization. It was quiet with a great... more

I stayed in a private room in the green tortoise with my parents. The room was quite loud since it was facing the street but we where consoled by a downtown location just next to the famous Pike Market and very good service. Free internet, three times a week free dinner and loads of organized activities such as pub crawls... more

Upon check-in, I was told there were no 4-bunk rooms available (I had requested one when I made my reservation online) so I was put in an 8-person room. It was clean, but with 8 people it was never very quiet. Sheets were old and worn, but clean, and no towels were provided. It was nice that there were curtains... more

You could not ask for a better location near Pikes market and Seattle Art Museum, right downtown. We were two women in a mixed dorm room, which was a little noisy, as the windows were open all night for the breeze & lots of people hang out near the market all night long. Another barrier to a full night's sleep... more

My friend and I stayed here for two nights. After the first night, my friend woke up with a few bites. I developed several bites later on in the day and switched rooms. My friend stayed in the same room that she stayed in the first night and woke up from a nap and the following morning completely covered in... more

Pros: - Good location - Free breakfast - $29 a night in a dorm Cons: - Rooms are very hot at night, my friend couldn’t sleep and day time temperatures weren’t that high - Chairs in the main area are filthy. I am sure they could afford a few new bits of furniture. - Generally run down - Staff could... more
