Our room was smaller but the home is beautiful and had gorgeous flowers blooming outside. Food was pretty good and host was very thoughtful in accommodating our special dietary needs. More

We enjoyed our stay in the dog-friendly annex, but did find the long climb up stone stairs from street something of a struggle with luggage at our ages. Some parking challenges as is limited. A large park is nearby, good for walking with dog. Cookies are available. We do not care for breakfast being served at fixed times only (maybe... More

As my wife and I are planning our annual trip out of town, our first and only choice is Chambered Nautilus. We discovered this inn about 11 years ago on a whim when we wanted to see what Seattle had to offer (we live near Portland). Our first trip to Chambered Nautilus, and meeting inn-keeper Joyce was so memorable that... More

It was our 2nd stay and just as delightful as our 1st. This time we were in a smaller room, Rose Room, which was lovely but had less closet space than the Crow's Nest which wasn't available. I peeked inside almost all of the rooms and can say that there are no duds. Breakfast was eye-catching, healthful and varied. Every... More

This was our first stay at the Chambered Nautilus because this is the first time we travelled to Seattle with our dog. Joyce is a wonderful host and she has great staff. We enjoyed meeting other guests at the large table in the morning. Breakfast was excellently prepared. The room in the dog friendly suite was very comfortable. My only... More

We just spent another wonderful two days at this B&B. (I think it was our 5th stay) Joyce and her staff have every detail of a relaxing stay covered. The rooms are tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable, the breakfasts always a winner, and who can resist the smell of chocolate chip cookies just out of the oven! This place would... More

I was in Seattle for a class at the National Archives 5 minutes away, and chose this B&B over the boring hotel route. The Chambered Nautilus offered a government rate well within my allowed per diem and I was so comfortable I felt like I was on vacation. I slept like a baby; the street was very quiet at night... My wife and I loved our stay at the Chambered Nautilus. Joyce and the staff treated us like family. They were so accomodating and helpful. Joyce was able to give us great directions and information about the best sites to see and restaurants. She was even kind enough to scrounge up some alcohol to preserve the bugs I collected. More

I have stayed many times at the Chambered Nautilus and have alway been extremely happy there. Beautiful rooms, amazing food for breakfast, super friendly and knowledgable host! The inn is very close to UW, so perfect for people who visit students there or have university related business like myself. More

Surprisingly quiet in the midst of town, consistently great food/outstanding service, tastefully appointed. We have visited more than a dozen times in the last 16 years and always leave looking forward to our return. This is a Seattle gem that always refreshes. More
