I will definitely be coming back everyone is so friendly and helpful I definitely felt at home far away from home. Its close to everything you need to survive. Lots of jobs in the area as well. Room was clean even had coffee maker I can't live without coffee.

There were no other backpackers in sight, the place was full of local people living there that were unable to rent a place due to various circumstances. This gave the Bent Prop Inn a terrible vibe with odd people lurking around the hostel. Not a nice atmosphere but a fairly clean place in an okay location.

I had never stayed in a hostel before this trip, just because of bad stories I have heard. Well this one, was very well ran, very clean. And everyone at the front desk was very nice and helpfull with good recommendations for food and transportation. What a great place to stay in Anchorage. Very good prices also..... (-:
