My husband and I along with our in-laws spent 3 nights at the Mangy Moose. I am so glad that I decided to upgrade my husband and I to the suite at the last minute. We had a spacious room with a large/comfy king size bed, a shower with dual shower heads, a separate whirlpool bath, fireplace etc etc. The... More

We were very pleased with our stay at The Mangy Moose. Our room was very nice, and Sally is a wonderful host and cook! We would definitely stay there again and recommend her to our friends. More

What a great stay we had at Mangy Moose! Sally's breakfast was absolutely delicious and the chance to share that meal with fellow travelers at our table was an added bonus. Sally is the perfect hostess. She's available, hospitable, kind, and enthusiatic, yet she knows when guests need privacy and quiet. We loved this wonderful house and our night in... More

We stayed at the Mangy Moose for one night while waiting for my brother to join us on our AK adventure. Sally was the perfect host and we loved the location and her home. It was nice that the B&B rooms were separated but we still had access to the main house. Breakfasts were so yummy! More

We stayed 2 nights in Sallies "The Mangy Moose Bed & Breakfast" and loved every minute of it. Sally is a very kind person and she likes what she is doing. You can see this in every detail of her Bed & Breakfast: everything is clean, comfortable, the food is delicious (her pancakes and muffins are the best!!) and the... More

Rooms were beautiful, beds were comfy, tub was large, breakfast was fabulous. Sally was very nice to us even after we deposited our wet, dirty kayaking clothes and shoes in her spotless home following our trip back to Anchorage from Seward. We had to leave very early several mornings during our stay, so we missed the full breakfast a few... More

We stayed at the Mangy Moose the last 2 days of a 2 week vacation. 5 of our days were spent kayaking and camping, so the Mangy Moose was a great way to wrap up our vacation. We stayed in the arctic suite which was a huge room, with a huge bath. There's a deck right off our room so... More

My wife and I stayed our last night of our trip to Alaska last year at the Mangy Moose. As some of the reviews say, it's located in a more suburban portion of Anchorage so peace & quiet is the name of the game. I can't remember what room we had but it was a very nice room and the... More

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Mangy Moose at the end of our cruise trip through Alaska. After being on the cruise ship, it was exciting to see a real Alaskan home and get a bit off the beaten path as Mangy Moose is located in a more rural housing area about twenty to thirty minutes from...
