We enjoyed our stay at the Alaska Chalet B & B (total of 7 nights: 4 nights at the beginning and 3 nights at the end of our Alaska trip). It was clean, comfortable, and a great home base for exploring Anchorage and the surrounding area.

This was the perfect place for my husband and me to enjoy time away by ourselves. We were visiting family in Eagle River after not seeing them for 3 yrs thanks to Covid. The place was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Brigette provided all we needed for a very relaxing stay. She asked ahead of time what we might want in our welcome package and even included a giant pretzel for my husband. I would highly recommend this place and we plan to keep it in mind for any future visits to the family there. Thanks, Brigette.

We were just here last week and loved every minute of it. It was clean, beautiful and the best value for your money. It was worth every penny. Bridget was so kind and helpful. We will be back. Memories of a lifetime.

My husband and I just finished up a three night stay here while visiting Alaska. We stayed in the Alaska Chalet Suite. Our area was very spacious with a small kitchen, living room area, bedroom, and bath with large whirlpool tub. Eagle River is just a short 25 minute drive to downtown Anchorage. Brigitte, the owner, was very kind and helpful, starting several weeks before our trip when we called to ask questions before making a reservation. Because of COVID, Brigitte is not cooking breakfast but did offer a nice welcome basket with items like yogurt, eggs, juice, fresh fruit, and toast. We found the house to be very reasonably priced, clean and comfortable and would definitely stay again if in the area.

I stayed at the Alaska Chalet B&B long term for a work assignment. My stay was very relaxing and comfortable. The host was very warm and friendly, which made my stay all the more welcoming. If I am ever in Eagle River again, I would definitely make a reservation!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Alaska Chalet B&B. It was very easy to find. The Chalet Suite was perfect for us with it's 2 bedrooms, a sitting room, a deck and a small kitchenette. The location was excellent for our daily road trips north and south of Eagle River. Brigitte was a wonderful host and had great ideas of what to see and where to go. We would highly recommend this B&B for your next trip.

We stayed in the Chalet Suite and our friends stayed in the Garden Suite. We wish we could have stayed longer (or moved in!). Great location. Brigette was the most gracious host. She was so sweet and has thought of everything & anything we might need. Didn't need to request anything from her...it was all there! Both of our units were very clean. Loved our own private entrances too. Quiet and very relaxing. Would stay again in a heartbeat...and hope to!

Our stay at Alaska Chalet was too short! We were here with many errands to run and the Garden suite was a perfect home base for us as we drove around the area. Brigitte really has thought of everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The bed and bed linens were so deluxe and comfortable. In the evenings to relax, we sat outside in the lovely garden, under blossoming trees as the weather was gorgeous and we met the neighbour and the neighbours' dogs. It really felt like we were always a part of the neighbourhood. The unit has all kinds of information about the surrounding area and attractions. There is also a wonderful collection of local art, Brigitte is the perfect ambassador for the area. We can't wait to get back to Alaska and would highly recommend staying here if you are travelling near Anchorage.

I cannot say enough about Alaska Chalet which was a welcome respite after long days out sightseeing and visiting friends. Brigitte is a most gracious hostess who lives on the premises. That being said, after she orients you to the features of the place, she gives you privacy and quiet. I stayed in the garden suite which was perfect for me. It didn't have a kitchen to cook in but there is a small butler's pantry stocked with nice dishes and silverware as well as a wonderful coffee/espresso maker and coffee bean grinder. There is a small refrigerator and microwave next to the table which was stocked with juice, milk, fresh hard boiled eggs, pastries, bread, butter, etc. The bedding was extremely comfortable, the bath modern and immaculate with a well-stocked medicine cabinet. The wood which is in the built-in dresser and the plank flooring is beautiful. The ambient temperature was very comfortable and quiet due to the fact that the floors have radiant heat. Of course there is cable and free wifi. In summary, Brigitte has thought of everything to make your visit wonderful.
