Pont Royal is a very nice village with beautiful apartments. Unfortunately when having booked for this location again at P&V (Pierre & Vacances) they just cancelled the holiday one week before the holiday would start. They did not even give a reason. The houses are typical P&V (not so big), so always take a size bigger. The 2 swimming pools are definitely worthwhile. There is also a Petting Zoo but that is hardly worth the name. I did not stay in the accommodation - booked somewhere privately - but did try to get internet access in the reception (€30 for 2 weeks). Terrible experience

looked as if they had tried to re-docorate but had done a terrible job. Having to pay for parking outside or near to your accomodation but there is no alternative parking. Easy to find and generaly well managed resort. Lovely views from the accomodation. Not enough facilities for the volumes of visitors e.g. enough pools but not enough area to accomodate you if not in the pool. Insufficient leisure areas to simply relax by the pool or lake.
