This was our 2nd stay here. It was a very nice experience. Always clean and service was excellant. Beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast that was served. Someone always there to make sure things did not run out. We like the retro look. Like one reviewer said "Think Mad Men". We would definitely come back.

This was our third stay here, and we have enjoyed each time. Great staff, nice rooms, always great! Wonderful room this trip, we were upgraded to a suite, which was so much fun. Location is perfect! Always greeted with genuine friendliness!

This place is within walking distance of many of the Lincoln historical sites. Room are somewhat small, but adequate. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was good. We spent two very pleasant nights at this hotel while touring the Lincoln sites in and around Springfield. The room was clean and comfortable with good amenities. The hotel location is ideal for visiting the Lincoln sites. The breakfast was outstanding and the staff were always very friendly and gracious. We would recommend this to anyone visiting Springfield.

We stayed at the State House when visiting Springfield for some Lincoln nerdery. The location could not be beat as it is in walking distance of the Lincoln Library and several other Springfield attractions. The hotel was clean and quiet. There's a good bar for happy hour, too.

We had to go for a swim meet for our son. We travel a lot between swimming and basketball, so we need to keep costs down. Lately we have had more than our share of disappointments.
