My wife and I recently stayed here for 2 nites. WE were going to a dear friends wedding in Cambridge. We made the reservation in earlyJanuary. We were never informed when we made the reservation that our room {#17}. was built into a small dormer with a bath and a shower head that was less than 4 feet high{yes that's...

We offered to move you when you first checked in as well as a couple times the next day but you declined. We offered to help move bags to make it as easy as possible but again you declined. To say that moving was inconvenient seems extreemly unfair - what else could we do but offer you more comfortable accomodations....

Had a wonderful night here, so much better than the other places we've stayed at in Cambridge in the past from a value for money point of view. Character, decent location in a nice neighborhood and close to the T. Would recommend for anyone staying in Cambridge, maybe a little remote if youre here to see Boston proper though!

We stayed just one night. Arrived mid-afternoon in time for cookies and tea. We stayed in the adjacent building, not connected to the B&B and it was fantastic. The only noise was the birds chirping outside our window in the morning. Great location. French toast for breakfast, good coffee. But the bed was great, nice sheets, and top notch bedding,...

Everything about the Prentiss Inn met or exceeded our expectations. We felt like we were guests in a lovely home. We arrived around 9pm to find a table in the parlor arrayed with an assortment of teas and gourmet cookies, and friendly staff who welcomed us and helped with luggage. Our rooms were cozy and beautiful, beds very comfortable. Breakfast...

This was our second stay; we got room 3 on the ground floor this time, which saved some huffing and puffing up the stairs. Both times, we have had great attention from the staff, wonderful breakfasts, clean rooms with good water pressure (sometimes a problem in old buildings, but not this one). The location is perfect for us because family...

Upon check-in I was offered some freshly baked cookies and tea while the young woman checked to make sure my room was ready. She then checked me and and explained their policies and showed me to my very spacious and lovely room located on the second floor in the back. It was equiped with a small fridge and wet bar...

We stayed for 4 nights in room 4 (suite in the back on the first floor). The inn has 20 rooms is 2 attached homes. The furnishings are attractive and comfortable, not over the top, and not the freshest. This room was exceptionally quiet, we heard no noice from the room above, and only shared one small wall with #3....

If you are looking for a great place to stay with kids..look no further! The Mary Prentiss Inn was perfect for our young family of five. It was conveniently located off of Mass. Ave in Cambridge. It was an easy walk for our kids to get to Harvard Square and to public transportation.
The employees were very friendly, and the...

I booked at stay at the Mary Prentiss Inn because I am partial to B&B-style accommodation even when on business. The "T" is only 5 minutes walk away so you can get to almost anywhere in Boston downtown in just a few minutes. The Inn is well presented but is different to a 'true" B&B in several respects. You never...
