We stayed at Solar Trani in June 2012. It's a well-appointed and centrally located B&B. The breakfast vouchers (for a drink and a croissant) are for a very good coffee shop about 5 minutes walk away. The managers are in the flat opposite and are most helpful and speak good English.

Our B&B is right at the centre of the old town, 3 minutes' walk from the Marina and fishing harbour. It’s in a 16th century building – completely restored in 2008 by Architect Fabrizio Paone to retain its original character. We have four huge rooms, each with air conditioning, antique and modern furniture, four metre high ceilings, and new en-suite bathrooms with Vietrese porcelain hand-made tiles. Rooms benefit from half-meter thick walls and double-glazing – so complete privacy. Also enjoy our romantic Juliet balconies looking onto the charming old streets of the 'centro storico'.
