We had prebooked this hotel for three days but on arrival were given the choice of two dark and dreary rooms. There were no windows - and in such a pretty town - and the bathrooms were worn and grubby. The ambiance was dreary and unwelcoming and smelt of disinfectant. In the heart of Castellammare del Golfo in Sicily at only 400 meters far from the sea, into an historical Palace of 1700 of recently restructured, with access by the colorful and frescoed inner courtyard, Hotel Locanda Scirocco is located, 50 km from Palermo, in the zone near Zingaro Natural reserve, Scopello and The Temple of Segesta.
We have 12 rooms, 7 in the principal building, and 5 in the dependance, far less than 150 meters from the principal, less distant from the sea.
All rooms have a private bathroom, hairdryer, air conditioned/heating system, phone, TV and bar-fridge.
