Grazalema is a lovaly place to stay - set in beautiful mountainous countryside - very tranquil but with all you need in restaruants, bars and shops - but feels untouristy although this must be one of Andalucia's prettiest villages. We stayed 3 nights as part of our motorcycle tour of Spain. The hotel's rooms are comfortable and clean. The restaurant... More

This is just as stated, a hostal. Rooms are very clean and adequate but lack character or charm. Ours happend to be cold all night and only one blanket so it was long cold night. Our friends room was just opposite and they were too warm. Dinner was difficult is entire menu was in Spainish only, however they did provide... More

Good value for price. Clean and quiet rooms, central location. Very friendly staff. Free parking in the street. Great restaurant serving traditional food! Breakfast was a bit dissapointing after the lovely meal the night before.

We stayed here for one night as a stop-off on a bus journey from Malaga to Cadiz and were very happy with the standard of the room and with the village itself, which is set in the midst of some beautiful countryside. We didn't eat in the restaurant, choosing to try some tapas in a local bar. Also, breakfast wasn't... More

Our small group stayed two days here. The hotel is comfortable, full of character and well positioned in the village. However the reason that this stay stands out well above all the other places we stayed at in Andalucia was the restaurant. The quality of the food was simply wonderful. We were brought a number small tapas at the beginning... More

If you like 5 star anodyne hotels, don't stay here. On the other hand if you like characterful (read higgledy-piggledy) traditional rooms and really spectacular local food, then you are going to love this hostal. My only complaint in three visits is an inability to handle very large walking parties at breakfast time and other guests.

This Inn has some nice elements including a fireplace and airy terraces however the whole layout is confusing and messy. Visual appeal? Rock bottom. We were too tired to look elsewhere so took the double room with its plaid bedspread and "Starry Night" over the bed. Certainly adequate for a night's rest....until the plumbing noises followed by people noises. Avoid... More

Casa de Las Piedras was a short walk from the town parking lot (check out what has to be one of the spookiest looking churches I've ever seen in the main square). The bathrooms were in the common hall, but that wasn't a problem since I don't think anyone else was on the same floor. The bathrooms were clean and... More

Excellent hotel reasonably priced with lovely clean and warm rooms. Centrally located and staff very helpful and friendly. Information readily available for local treks and will even arrange transport to beginning of routes. Only complaint is that breakfast not available until 10.00hrs so if you wish to start treks early you have arrange own. Other members of our party stayed... More

February. The rooms were freezing cold. A popping element could not really provide warmth. Only one electrical outlet in the room. But the warmth of the staff and by the fire in the common areas on the ground floor compensated for it. It is a genuine old house with a lovely atmosphere and fine details like colorful old tile floors.... More
