Excellent sites, great hosts, huge trees, and the sounds of the nearby river made this place awesome! There is no flush toilets or showers, but if you can get passed that and deal with the new pit toilets, you will love this place. The river is really something. I suggest checking out the little 'beach' down by the A loop.... More

We stayed in La Wis Wis the nights of June 29 and 30. We were checking in rather late, 7 pm and worried we wouldn't get a spot. When we arrived we had our choice of spots all very secluded and large. We went to camp at La Wis Wis campground just east of Packwood, Wa. The campground hosts were horrible and wanted more money for the sites than was posted on the campground board.
