We spent a Sunday night here after a day of snowshoeing. It is conveniently located less than 10 miles to the Nisqually entrance, and right next to a shop that sells and rents basic equipment. The room was basic, but clean and comfortable. There is an attached coffee shop. A hot tub and WiFI are available but we didn't try... More

We have stayed here twice so far, so we had a warm place to go with showers after snowshoeing. It is basic, but clean, the staff is super nice and the rangers all took their time to answer a million questions from my ten year old son. the hot tub was awesome and clean. don't look for a resort, this... Stayed at the bunkhouse in room 4 on Sept.28. I wanted a place that was close to Mount Rainier but didn't break the bank and the Bunkhouse was the perfect option. You can still see the footprints from the old loggers in the wood floors. The room was basic. Private shower, toilet, sink, small dresser and a bed with two... More

The perfect place to stay for your Rainier climb, it provides basic rooms, good food, gear rental, retail shop, and a great location. The rooms provide you with a place to sleep and shower (towels and soap/shampoo provided), which is all you should really need. Some rooms have wifi. If you're climbing with RMI, you'll be staying right where all... More

Did a weekend here and enjoyed the room, grounds, amenities and location. A little pricey for what you get, but it was the high season so overall I feel good about the price I paid. The bar (part of the tour company I believe) was good eats at a good price. The onsite coffee shop was great in the AM. More

But very uncomfortable. The bed felt like a sheet of 3/4 inch plywood with a piece of foam over the top of it. We got one beatup feather pillow each...mine was wadded up into a ball by the time that I got up in the morning...didn't sleep very well at all. It was clean and for the most part, well... More

Clean and spacious, but NOT comfortable by any means. Beds rock hard. The only chairs were wood with no padding to lean against. One pillow per guest. The four of us stacked ours as a test - the total was just over an inch of thickness for all. I need my head elevated to breath while sleeping so I tried... More

Our room was actually two bedrooms (with queen beds) separated by a tiny bathroom (shower, no tub). Perfect for our traveling party: a mom, a son, and his girlfriend. It would also be good for parents and kids, or two couples traveling together. The rooms are quite spartan: wood (laminate?) floors, no rugs, no curtains, no armchair, just a bed,... More

We wondered where we would stay close to Mt Rainier. Some other places were larger, and i,m sure more expensive. But we found this nice quiet bunkhouse about 5mi.from the entrance to the mt.It was a little pricey(93.33),but when compared to the others we looked at it was good for us.Only drawback(if your into watching tv)was NO TV.So we watched "Twlight" on our...
