This is one of Gourock's gem's. The views are stunning, the food although a bit pricey is of good quality for 'pub grub'. Great in the summer for the ideal pit stop when on a scenic trek. Stuart puts his heart and soul into the place and this comes through. (where else can you get a slice roll at 11:30pm... More

There are a couple of choices in this area, with a B&B coming very highly recommended. I left following my two night stay at The Spinnaker rather wishing I'd stayed at the B&B. The hotel was not bad, the staff were delightful, I just didn't feel that the room justified the money. In Gourock on business, I stayed in a... More

A lovely Hotel with great view over the Firth of Clyde ,The Staff were very welcoming and very understanding when we had to cut our stay short by a day > Breakfast was very good and although the stated timing was 7-9 you could go later .There is unfortunately traffic noise due to the hotel being on the main road... We were there for 3 nights in room 6 overlooking the Clyde. A truly beautiful view and a clean and otherwise good sized room. Very good breakfast served from 7-9. Reasonable priced and a friendly staff. The only negative thing would be some noise from the morning traffic. We had a nice stay. More

A lovely little hideaway which our tour guide recommended, a great view of the mighty Clyde from our room and we saw loads of large ship etc. B&B comfortable worth the money, food very good, well presented and moderately priced. Downside shower was tepid could have been warmer. More

Hi Elaine. Thank you for taking the time to post on Trip Advisor. I'll have a look at the shower and try to figure out what the problem is. Most of the showers are relatively new and a reputable make and model. Thank you for highlighting a possible problem. Overall I hope you enjoyed your stay at the Spinnaker and... More

We spent 4 nights here during the tall ships race in July 2011. The rooms were quite comfortable with a good ensuite,as it is a Hotel it can be very busy at weekends. The main problem we encounted was that due to the fact meals are available all day, when you came to order your evening meal a lot of items... More

The room was good and we slept well, you have to remember it's a pub so people will be coming and going especially on a Friday and Saturday night and it's always packed. Breakfasts were fine but kippers were never available although listed on the menu. There was one girl dealing with virtually everything and was too busy to be... More

We apologise your experience was not 100% enjoyable. The particular weekend you stayed was very busy, but that is no excuse for customers not receiving good quality service. We were understaffed and this has been reviewed and rectified. We can only apologise further for your preferred breakfast choice not being available throughout your stay. We do genuinely provide what is... More

I cannot describe in words how nice it is to go and have a few drinks at this hotel on a nice night.
