First, my deepest apologies to Leslie for taking sooooo long to get around to writing this review! This past December (12/23/2011), my sister and I decided to go on a cross-country road trip for the first time ever. Along the way we had the pleasure of meeting so many gracious hosts, seeing this beautiful country, experiencing terrifying road conditions and... More

My wife & I recently spent four wonderful nights at Elk Ridge B/B. We had never been to this part of the world before and I’m so pleased we chose this B/B, Ron & Leslie are wonderful hosts. Our room was the John D Chance room (named after a character in the film Rio Bravo starring John Wayne). The room... More

This B&B is a hidden gem! My husband and I only spent one night at Leslie and Ron's lovely B&B, but it was a great place to spend the night. The location is supreme. It's quiet and the views are spectacular. Leslie and Ron are inviting and make you feel right at home from the moment you step into their... More

Leslie and Ron's lovey home made a wonderful respite for us. We stayed three nights and enjoyed the fire outside and the wonderful view and the wildlife around. Perfect weather for our stay. Great breakfasts with a good mix of sweet and savory dishes and we enjoyed the thoughtful blessing for our meal and for our day out. We would... More

Leslie and Ron were the perfect host, providing a homey environment, delicious breakfasts each morning and tips on what to do and see. We would have never driven the needles hwy had it not been for their suggestion and... More

Leslie and Ron run a first class place. The breakfasts were wonderful, the room we had was spacious, and best of all Ron and Leslie were interested in what we'd done during the day. They had a pot of coffee going constantly and it felt like home. A nice touch each evening was a canape ready in the bedroom, best... More

Wife and I just spent 5days here, our first b+b stay. Leslie andRon are fantastic, they make you feel like they've known you for ever. Leslie makes breakfast a special event, a time to chat with fellow guests, get the best directions from Ron or just enjoy that first cup coffee. If you are going to see mt Rushmore, crazy... More

We spent three nights at the Elk Ridge B&B over the July 4th holiday and found it met all our expectations. There are three rooms, at least two of which open on to a deck which is great for greeting the morning. Leslie cooks from the heart at breakfast and offers imaginative good food and lots of it. We were... More
