We were here in September, which meant there weren't a lot of other guests. We did not have any problems with finding a parking space, and only had one night with noisy neighbors. I agree with other reviewers, the parking lot is difficult to manuever through, and schlepping lugguge up the stairs to the room was a real pain. The... More

From outside the hotel looks nice with balconies.. We were delighted,( but not for long), to get a room on the 3rd floor. Even though there were few guests, they gave us a room to the back of the hotel. Instead of a balcony our window had a parking lot directly in front of it. Yes, on the 3rd floor,... More

As with most properties, the Roosevelt Inn, has different classes of rooms at different price points. This guest was given exactly the room she booked. Had she wanted a balcony she could have booked a balcony room at a slightly higher rate. The fact that she was not given a free upgrade seemed to upset her. Her actions are like... More

Found this hotel through TripAdvisor. Rates were less than the competition all around it. It's an older hotel, but privately owned and operated. Very helpful front desk. The room we had was a "studio" - a king bed and a small table and chairs situated a couple of steps up in a dormer-type window area. The bathroom was clean but... More

We stayed in the loft suite, which consisted of two king sized beds and two twins in the loft. The room was clean and the towels weren't dingy like someone else had mentioned in their review. The beds were very comfortable (soft not hard like other hotels), slept very well, better then any other hotel beds. The staff was very... More

Great location. Very accommodating hosts during Sturgis Motorcycle Rally week. Nice rooms, great beds, clean. The owners were out and about. I would also highly recommend the Big Time PIzza that is located in the bottom floor of the hotel. Very good pizza....especially the Quad. Must be a good place too because it was busy every night. August 10-12 we stayed at the Roosevelt Inn. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The inn provided a hot tub for tired bikers, a good breakfast (delicious self-made waffles), a good pizza place connected to the inn, and friendly hospitality. The owners provided us with information for traveling through the Black Hills area, and the inn was an easy location... More

The owners were very helpful and the service was great. I had my handicapped in- laws with and two young children. I couldn't find anywhere else available during Sturgis Rally Week that was under $250 a night other than the Roosevelt. I couldn't have found a better deal. You could find a bigger pool somewhere else, but that's not why... More

The location is GREAT; the people were GREAT and the room was GREAT! We really loved the Roosevelt Inn. It's super close to Mount Rushmore. It's also across the street from a fun slide that we all loved. Downtown has some nice shops and you can walk there. The pool is not much, but that really wasn't why we were... More
