travelling back North and needed place that would take dogs. No problemo she said! Plenty of other travellers with dogs and easy to walk. Rooms surround courtyard and we chose one overlooking water. Dated but clean. Enjoyed an evening drink from our cooler in little fenced in patio. Beware.....NO RESTAURANT despite website. Either eat before or pack a subway. Did... More

Alas the place seems neglected and in need of major updating. The room was fine, but lacks lampshades. The little porch is dirty and the vinyl seatcovers uninviting. The continental breakfast consisted of seriously dried up pastries and sweet juice. There's also a devil dog by the entrance that scared me and my little dog every time we walked by!

Set just off Mex 1 on a cliff over-looking the ocean, this grand old motel is a great value. Large, clean quiet rooms, Wifi and ample parking in a huge courtyard type lot. With an ocean view room, there is a large fenced patio which made for a happy dog and a pleasant evening relaxing with a take-out pizza on... More

On a recent trip down the Baja we stayed at Hotel El Morro. The room was very spacious, the view was incredible, and the beds were super comfortable. I am writing this review for a different reason than the quality of the accommodations, which were excellent for the price. The purpose of my trip was to buy a new motorcycle,... More

Hotel el Morro is located about 1.5km outside of town and is a great choice for a quiet stay in Santa Rosalia. Rooms are clean and the staff is nice. It was very windy when we stayed here and if you are looking for a beach view, you will get a room with a gated patio, where you might feel... More

Large, clean, spacious room with a patio overlooking the Sea of Cortez. The bed was comfortable and the bath had all of the necessities (including hot water). The staff is friendly AND they do accept pets. Safe off street parking. We intend to make this a regular stop when traveling the Baja. The restaurant has closed and, to us, that... More

It is worn a bit, paint would really help, but the beds were not bad, had sheets, blanket, comforter that all seemed clean, room was clean, very large, patio overlooking the Sea of Cortez, shower was clean and good pressure. We were happy to stay here. Value was good too. I'd recommend this hotel.

There is nothing wrong with this hotel for the price...50 dollars. it is a little out of the town which is a plus as the town is nowadays a lively and bustling place as a new copper seam has been found. The rooms are large and clean, if a little dated, with a wonderful view of the sea. The dawn... More

Located at the juncture of the transpeninsular and the Sea of Cortez. Off street parking a plus, restaurant good for simple fare. Rooms are 'tired' the towels have had 'nine lives'.... Basic accommodation after a long and hair raising descent down DIABLO.....
