What makes this place better than average are the staff and location. The management are extremely helpful and pleasant. German speaking too. The lodge is Right in Tairua and on the estuary. Great hotel, upon arrival we received fantastic, friendly and informative service by Robert and staff. Robert was a great host, it definitely shows that he is passionate about his work.
