We stayed for two nights in March at Raelene's beautiful home and five acre property with superb views of Mounts Cook and Tasman in the background. Conveniently located a five minute car ride from the very small town of Fox Glacier or Lake Matheson. We chose the room with the ensuite which was very clean and large with comfortable bed... More

We stayed 2 nights here. The house is beautiful and immaculately clean. Raelene offers relaxed hospitality. The window frames the mountain view perfectly. We were also instructed on the best places to eat in Fox. We got use of the wifi. The house is pretty quiet, but there is a helicopter place next door so there are copter comings/goings. All... More

My mum and I stayed at Reflection Lodge for one night, and it was the best hospitality experience I’ve ever had. The lakeside view is amazing! Looking out the window is like seeing a painting masterpiece. The place is very comfortable and well decorated. Raelene gave us warm welcome and treated us as if we were old friends visiting her... 20 min walk on the flat to restaurants but if we went by car there was no problem parking. We were made to feel at home. It was modern and Raelene's grounds were beautiful. Room was spacoius, comfortable, clean and quiet. (exept when the helicopters were flying!) Good breakfasts, eggs from her chickens and strawberries from her garden.

We immediately felt at home! Realene welcomed us in her relaxed way in her cosy house, which offers great views of the mountains. Even from our bedroom we had a spectacular view, the room was bright and had a lot of windows, and a direct access to the terrace and to the huge and well-kept garden, which surrounds the house.... Wow, what a great stay we had. Selected on the basis of its location - it measured up perfectly. Convenient for all the tourist activities you do when visiting the glacier area and it has its own private lake with perfect reflections of Mt Tasman and Mt Cook - a photographer's paradise. Raelene was a superb host - nothing was... More

We rarely write reviews but we had to make an exception for Raelene. We stayed for 2 nights and from the moment we arrived Raelene made us feel at home. We didn't have great weather but we had wonderful company, a perfect host who was happy to share personal stories, introduce us to friends and family members, give informed recommendations... More

We paid a visit to Fox Glacier when we traveled in New Zealand, and stayed in this beautiful house, meeting this lovely lady-Raelene. There're a lot of fun when we gathered in the living room at night, sharing ice cream and chinese green tea brought by us,also Raelene provided a little of lamp when she prepared dinner for the family, really little, too little for... We are still talking about our two nights in Fox Glacier and I don't think we will ever forget them! We had a fun time with Raelene and her family. Our room was lovely with lots of space and about the best en-suite we had in NZ. the weather was appalling while we were there, but we managed a brief... More
