I have read the reviews and to the ONE who complained cause they were put near a room with a dog, DON'T stay in one of the only hotels that allows dogs for FREE! I have no problem with people with dogs staying at the Hotel, but they should not be given a room beside people who have no dog. Then they go out leave the dog alone and the people without the dog have listen to the dog barking for hours. This is very inconsiderate and selfish.

The hotel was beautiful and check in was a breeze. All the staff we came in contact with were friendly and helpful. The room was reasonably priced but we were surprised by they high tax rate. Our room was well furnished and clean as was the breakfast area. We enjoyed our stay.

We use LaQuinta hotels often but had never stayed at Macon, GA. Check in was good with friendly service. Room appeared clean till you looked closer. Bathroom floor needed help especially in corners.
