Great hotel, great architecture! Perfect rooms, each with its own character. Every single room has some thing to distinguish from the rest (chandelier, mirror or painting, etc.) things that you can easily miss if you are not connoisseur but that is why the hotel is not for everybody with money. The Grand America is beautiful, well-located and expertly staffed. Upon our arrival, we were offered an up-grade to a suite with a lovely view of the mountains. They don't build them like this very often. The physical structure is impressive. The use of wood and stone classic. The soft goods might be refreshed, but really nice hotel. I greatly appreciated the free wi-fi. The service was friendly and helpful.
