My sisters and I arrived late in Albuquerque after a long drive from Denver. Used our phones to find an acceptable place for an overnight stay...we were so lucky to have found Sandia Peak! The grounds are clean and well kept, the staff extremely friendly and helpful, our room was perfect. The owners have kept this motel vintage and we... More

I stayed one night at this motel (6/9/2013 to 6/10/2013). I was assigned room 118. I found the window unlocked, this is a ground level room. The room is nice and clean, it has a refrigerator, microwave, iron and board, hair dryer, BIG LCD TV with cable, and coffee maker. The room has a big desk, several tables with chairs,... More

After a bad experience at another motel, we were sent here for the night. Price was cheap and we got a good night sleep. Not in the best area of town, but it will do if you need a place to stay. The place was quiet and served its purpose. The staff was excellent and the room was very clean.

We had a most pleasant experience at this inn. We were a little concerned by the neighbor hood but what a surprise package it was. The innkeeper was absolutely concerned that everything was perfect and that all our needs were met, these were met in every way. The room was exceptionally clean and well decorated. The breakfast buffet met all... More

We booked here based on good reviews in TA and Booking.com, and would find it hard to find anything to be critical about. The lady who runs the place is wonderful and a human dynamo...she is everywhere, and all hours of the day. The place is recently rehabbed, and the grounds and rooms are excellent. Our king room was very... More

I have no problem with this motel, but I don't get why it's raved about so much, & ranked #2 in all of Albuquerque. It was fine, but not as spectacular as it's made out. Everything was okay, but just okay, nothing special. The deadbolt on the door had some issues which was a bit worrying, but with a bit... More

I wasn't quite sure what to think when we drove up, given the low-end commercial neighborhood and the eclectic look of the place. However, I was then greeted by the very cheery and chatty Indian couple that run the place, and I to began to have more confidence. The room was very clean and orderly, although kind of funky Southwestern.... More

On historic Route 66, this motel will not put you in the center of town. However! If you want cute, extremely clean rooms, friendly and personal service, and a very reasonable price, it's more than worth it. Close and convenient to 40 if you are just passing through. The neighborhood is a mix of closed and open businesses, so it's... More

As others have noted, the facility is older and basic. But it has a laundry, a pool, fresh fruit, rooms with comfortable beds, functional air-conditioners, refrigerators and microwaves. And it was all very clean. Then there's the staff that attend to every request quickly and with a smile. When my TV didn't seem to be working, someone came to address... More

This is a really neat mom and pop motel on Central Avenue which makes it convenient to several areas of town. It's an older property but our large room was clean and up to date with a large bathroom. A Very friendly lady welcomed us and assured us we could reach her 24/7 and to let her know if we... More
