I always choose Motel 6 because they are pet friendly, especially when I'm unfamiliar with the area. I hate it when I'm forced into paying an extra $50 for my 5# Chihuahua at an unknown hotel. I wish that more hotels were forthcoming with their "pet rates." Pros: The motel was nice, upgraded and in great shape. No issues with... More

I love Albuquerque, so much so I am considering moving here. Anyway, I found this Motel 6 on my way between the east & west coasts, and they have very nice clean rooms for a very reasonable rate, and even your pet is allowed. It's a very convenient location, whether you're looking at the university up the street, or just... More

Snow, rain, rental truck issues! Had to stop, glad I did! Great room, great price! Staff was friendly and I REALLY appreciated there not being a pet fee. Very modern, clean design and the TV was top notch!

This place was great. No pet fee was great. They only downside was the hardwood floors stayed cold. I recommend staying here. It's worth the money and it's not very expensive. Extremely convenient location as well.

This hotel has a rude night staff whom locked my daughter out of her room do the her boss having paid for the room for her. She is National Guard AND 20 YEARS OLD. The lady did not give her name when she contacted me at 12 in the middle of the night wanting my daughters bosses #. and mind... More

Clerk at the desk was wonderful and so was the room. We were called in our room to see if all was ok. I forgot my license at the front desk but they called immediately so that I would come back to get it. We would stay here again. Room was clean and we could have our dog with us.... More

Motel 6 is usually a pretty dependable chain, but this one is slipping a bit. It is right off I40, so it’s convenient for a quick escape when you need to pull off the road to sleep. The room was clean, but it was rather small and very noisy. Not highway noise – neighbor noise. We were on the main... More

I had driven for twelve hours and I needed to sleep. When I exited the freeway, this motel was the first 'vacancy' sign that I saw. There was another family ahead of me making arrangements for the night. The woman behind the counter wasn't friendly at all. Yes she took care of the other family and myself, but she wasn't... More

I've been using tripadvisor to pick my hotels on my cross-country trip and decided I've been mooching so heavily on the reviews and have benefited so greatly that I really needed to contribute. Last night was my first hotel stay, at this Motel 6 (don't confuse it with the older one across the road; this one is at 6015 Iliff... More

We have stayed in Motel 6s en route through Albuquerque many times, and were happy when they upgraded the rooms in this one since the one across the street is horrible. However, this time was the straw that broke the camel's back for us, and we won't stay here again. Yes, it's cheap, and we only needed a place to... More
