This is an older hotel with a lot of charm. The staff was very accomodating and took care of us from the moment we arrived. It seems as though it is in need of a little TLC. The actual tower where the rooms are located is just OK! The room was just a little bigger than a typical hotel room.... More

Just spent the past three days here at a conference. Lovely property for a conference. Nice ballroom for events. Food was EXCELLENT-something nit always connected with large number meals. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms comfortable and decorated in southwest motif giving you a true sense of place. Overall a wonderful property for a conference

We stayed on a week day and had heard about this hotel from a few friends. I read the review and many said it was a party hotel but when we were there we didn't experience any " loud drunk people" . The hotel is very nice but while we were there they were doing renovations and the restaurant was... More

This is a very large hotel with friendly staff, comfortable beds, nicely decorated rooms and in a good location. The room I stayed in (214) - a Traditional King - was very large and comfortable, bathroom was good - although it had a view of the carpark. Also there was no fridge, which I would've expected in such a large... More

I stayed for a recent conference, hadn't been there for several years. I like the southwest decor and Indian blanket design carpet, even in the guest rooms. It really suits the location. Great service throughout my two night stay, all employees were friendly and greeted me with a smile. Saw some construction in the courtyard; looks like they will be... More

The Hotel ABQ hosted the New Mexico Governors Conference on Tourism this year and I found it to be one of the best conference sites that I've experienced in New Mexico. The staff is very friendly and helpful, rooms are very clean & comfortable, and the hotel is in a great location in Old Town Albuquerque. When I travel to... More

We spent three nights in this hotel. We had a mini suite which was quite spacious. The service was very good. Our only problem was our inability to adjust the room thermostat. The lobby is beautiful and the garden and pool are lovely (although under construction right now).

Why do we keep coming back to The Hotel ABQ? We finally concluded that the people make the place. First, the quibbles, and they are minor items: no flat screen TVs, outdated bathrooms and inconsistent housekeeping service. However, in spite of these flaws, we love the staff, the cafe, the grounds, the lobby, the views (especially on the side facing... More

I stayed at the Hotel Albuquerque for a business meeting that also had a recreational component to it. I have fairly high standards for a hotel and this definitely met those. The room was clean and comfortable with a king bed that had plenty of pillows and very nice sheets. It was also quite large. The bathroom was fine -... More

Stayed here recently for a conference. First I'll say the staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean and the meeting facilities were good, The food was also good. The restaurant in the lobby was casual very good and reasonably priced for breakfast. The waitstaff there was super friendly. However, there were somethings that were somewhat annoying. 1) They don't... More
