My wife and I stayed for 3 nights (Thurs, Fri, Sat) in the Columbine room as part of a wedding that was booked for Saturday night. This being a B&B, and a luxury one at that, I was disappointed in the overall experience. Save your money and go somewhere else. Definitely do not stay here on a weekend in the... More

We truly regret that you did not feel Taharaa lived up to your expectations, but we firmly believe that our facilities, services, and pricing are highly competitive with other properties in Estes Park and offer a great value for individuals seeking a casually elegant getaway in the mountains. Although you feel we are too “rule-oriented,” our policies have been developed... More

My husband and I recently spent four lovely nights at the Taharaa. We stayed in the Dunraven Suite and enjoyed a very comfortable king-size bed, relaxing seating area and balcony, and all the amenities. I truly do not understand why anybody would object to being asked to use a beige washcloth to remove make-up; perhaps they have never tried to... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here; it was everything that was promised and so much more. The hosts were wonderful and patient answering our questions and giving us local tips for the hikes, horse back riding and restaurants. The breakfasts were outstanding, the happy hours very sociable, and rooms were very nice all have a view. I would highly recommend... More

I was so excited to visit Taharaa based upon the website which shows the beautiful views & gorgeous rooms (each with a deck and view); however, once we actually checked-in I immediately felt uneasy and uncomfortable. Diane (owner) has a long list of unnecessary rules fit for children. For the price they charge, Diane really should shorten her rules list... More

We are so sorry that your stay with us last year did not meet your expectations. Taharaa actually only has three requests that begin with “Do Not,” all of which we feel are quite reasonable: we do not permit smoking anywhere in our lodge or on the room decks; we ask guests not to let our puppy, Lucky Dog, escape... On short notice I needed a place to stay the night in Estes Park. Someone mentioned Taharaa B&B and I was a little reluctant since B&B's can be a bit too homespun for my tastes. Nevertheless I called and made arrangements and was very pleasantly surprised on my arrival. The Lodge itself was beautiful and top quality. The proprietor was... More

My husband and I stayed here for two nights and were very happy with our stay. I am very picky when it comes to cleanliness and this lodge was immaculate. The views from the main areas and from our bedroom were amazing. I read some of the negative reviews on the staff and owners but we found them to be... More

I read a few of the reviews written about Taharaa previously, not all positive - and I would like to start out by saying don't bother considering those. It never ceases to amaze me that no matter what business you may be in, there are always a few negative people with a narrow mindset, negative outlook and narrow life experience... More

My husband and I visited the Taharaa mountain lodge for our first wedding anniversary this weekend and let me just say this is one of the best most relaxing short trips we have ever been on it. Both Ken and Diane were so accommodating and kind to us we certainly felt so welcome. They served a great breakfast both mornings... More

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at the Taharaa in the Stanley Steamer room. The view, the accommodations, the gourmet breakfast and the hospitality were second to none. Ken, Diane and staff are amazing hosts. We highly recommend Taharaa Mountain Lodge to all and plan to make the it an annual tradition. The lodge offers privacy coupled with the... More

We stayed at Taharaa over President's Day and had a very nice stay. The room, the Dunraven, was spacious and well-appointed but perhaps needs a bit of TLC particularly in the bathroom which was a bit outdated and had loose light fixtures and a door that didn't want to stay closed. The TV too was an older one. Sadly, we... More

We're so glad you enjoyed your stay at Taharaa, and we appreciate you taking the time to provide feedback on your experience. Unfortunately, as you noticed during your visit, Estes Park had an exceptionally and unusually windy winter and spring. We're sorry that the wind disturbed your sleep, but we do believe that is a pretty atypical occurrence. Again, thank... More
