We have been staying at this lodge since the 1970's. It was not called Amberwood back then, but it is still the same family that owns and operates Amberwood. We have become life long friends with the owners, and we have shared many meals, events, and good times with them. We watched their children grow up while we were watching... More

The Daisy cabin was cozy & warm. You can not beat the price & location. The cabin is small, but has everything you need for comfort. They provide a bundle of wood each day for the fireplace. Our bed was comfortable. The cabin was spotless. There were two soft chairs with footstools. We would stay here again.

Our extended family wanted to find a cozy cabin to ring in the new year, and we found it! We originally booked for two nights, but fell in love with our cabin and stayed an extra night. The cabin was immaculate, and beautifully decorated. The kitchen (with updated kitchen appliances) was fully stocked with everything we needed for cooking family... More

I picked this place solely on it's reviews here on TripAdvisor, and what they say is true. The place was immaculate. The owners were friendly. It is in an excellent location. And the bed was even comfy! I stayed two nights in one on the Sunday House rooms. If I was staying longer or with more people I would have... More

My fiance and I were on a budget, as we had 10 nights to book all throughout Colorado. After reading reviews on trip advisor I decided to book here and I am glad we did. We had a wonderful stay. We had great customer service, from booking to arriving. We stayed on the second floor of the Sunday House and... More

We stayed in the newly renovated spa room - what a treat! The room was aesthetically beautiful, natural without that "rustic cabin" feel. We took full advantage of the amenities and had a fire, used the jacuzzi and took a shower the next morning in the two-headed shower floored with river rock. There was a little noise from the road... We loved Amberwood's Columbine Cabin. It is perfectly located between downtown Estes Park and RMNP. Our cabin had 2 bedrooms and a spacious family room/kitchen. Perfect for mom, dad and our two boys 10 & 12. There was also a fireplace in the family room. The bathroom has a stand alone shower and bathtub. Everything was neat and clean. The... More

We started out intending to rent one of the cabins at Amberwood but instead ended up booking a room in their 6 unit motel- like building saving mucho $$. We were there for 3 days while enjoying Rocky Mtn. NP. It was very convenient to the park and the town of Estes Park. The room had a great view and... More

Everyone in our group agreed that Amberwood was the perfect place to stay. There were 16 in our group and everyone was comfortable. The Grand Lodge was clean, large, with plenty of towels and comfortable beds. The kitchens had multiple coffee pots, toasters and well stocked cabinets. We put the 2 large smokers outside to good use each night. We... More

My husband and I and our boys went up to Estes park for a few days to hike and fish in the RMNP. Perfect location next to the park overlooking the mountains! Lots of wildlife to watch while sitting on your cabins porch! We stayed at the authentic columbine cabin unit 3 which had all the amenities we wanted super... More
