I am Mark O. Stevens replying. Susan Amidon was my late wife, who died in 2021 My guest and I had a very nice time at Starr Pass Golf Suites. Our room was very nice with all the amenities listed. Every staff member we encountered was very nice e & quite helpful. We ate at the clubhouse restaurant & enjoyed our meals & the excellent service we received. The front desk was quite helpful for directions & a provided Tucson map. We are planning to return next year for a longer stay. We don't play golf, but the whole setting is so beautiful from the building design to the excellent landscaping. We had a great time.

This beautiful setting at Starr Pass park trail head is home to these single story 2 bedroom condos. You can rent out one bedroom or studio as well. Wild Javelina’s and the occasional Coyote wonder the grounds. Quiet and dark at night to see the stars. Great pool and sitting area. We don’t golf but it appears to be very nice.

Eight of us went on a buddies’ trip and stayed at the resort. The units were very modern and clean. Each had a full kitchen, washer and dryer, dining table and living room with a fireplace. The check-in staff was very friendly accomodating when we arrived before posted check-in time. All three of the nines were excellent tracts and the staff (other than one starter, who I hope was just having a bad day) was quite helpful and cordial. The bar-b-que resturant on site was fantastic for dinner and at the the end of a round. On a side note, I left a bag in my unit and it was overnighted to me, almost beating me home! Obviously customer service is what they do! I woild highly reccomend staying if you are in the area.

We had the most stressful and awful experience at this place. We arrived at 8.30 pm ( check in supposed to be open till 10pm according to booking.com) and after a long day of driving 600 miles only to find there was no signage for the hotel. We had to drive around in loops until we found an unlit sign part obscured by trees. However it got worse. The road to the check in was closed and there was no one around no where to park. We were wondering around on foot trying to get access to the building which was all closed. Phone number given on booking.com was not connecting and the number on the closed door to the Check in also not being picked up. Eventually after 20 minutes of walking around in the dark we found an employee who was very apologetic and helped us check in. If we had not bumped into him we would have to have found another hotel. It doesn't end there. Once booked in we found the shower in the room is not working. Trying to get anyone to help is needless to say pointless. I'm at the end of my tether.. Having to now wash in the bath. I have never come across anything like this complete and utter shambles. Subsequent emails to the property has been ignored.

PUT YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE. I have stayed here more than 10 times and now I will never go again. The power was out for two nights and they did not allow me to get into my room. Then they couldn't find me in the system. It was a total pain to get compensation when I COULD NOT STAY in the room for two nights because they would not allow me to. Then when I left, I got a really nasty call from them because my service dog chewed a stick. I asked before I left if they wanted me to pick it up, and apologized as she is still a dog and when service dogs are not working, they are allowed to be dogs. She did not damage anything, yet the manager WENT OFF on me. She was using foul language, discriminatory language that is completely not appropriate. I ended up having to go through my credit card company because they did not want to refund me when they did not provide services for the first two nights. Then to be completely mistreated by their staff and their manager, when I checked in with the cleaning staff prior to leaving, was unacceptable. They tried to charge me 400$ in addition to NOT REFUNDING me for services NOT RENDERED and I had to dispute through my credit card company. It is a shame to have such a nice space and such unprofessionalism, classless and discriminatory people working there. Just because you can't see a disability doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Thank you, next. Do not stay here if you want to not be called every name in the book by management and have 3 people working that can't figure out how to check you in for two days because of some lightning... seems difficult to run a business like that.

Starr pass and the associated Marriott Starr pass hotel are fine properties. The golf course is beautiful and lots of wildlife. Everything is a bit of a drive, but we knew that going in. South Tucson for great Mexican food and the local shopping and events downtown make it convenient. No cross-town freeways keep surface streets busy, and the traffic can be annoying.

We spent a week at the Starr pass Golf Suites in a one bedroom unit. The condo was perfect and the location was truly magnificent. We have a view of the desert and plenty of hiking and mountain biking right outside our back door. The staff was very kind and the onsite restaurant was very convenient. The road biking on the Loop Trail was fabulous and it took us all over Tucson. The weather was perfect! We will most definitely be back.

Resort was nice but service and studio accommodation was very poor. We stayed in a studio unit and could hear every word and movement in the one vedroom unit next door. Complained and was told ut is the same with every unit. Tried to pay to move but apparently the entire resort was full. Asked for 3 items to be sorted in our unit at 9am, we came back at 4pm and nothing had been done. Lots of yes, yes from front desk but no action. Dont stay in the studio units. Played golf, course was great. A starter called Dan was very rude and unwelcoming on the first tee. No idea how someone like that can be the face of the club.
