Very convenient to the airport. Good rate for the large size room and bathroom. I liked having a door separating the toilet from the tub and sink. The hotel is clean and fairly quiet. Large, spacious rooms. Very comfortable. Junior staff is friendly. Cons: Parking lot sweeping in the middle of the night kept me awake. We stayed 3 nights here and it is a great place to stay. The staff are very friendly, the rooms are large and the Steak House is fantastic. We also really liked the special lobby of the casino that provided excellent information and displays about the Tohono O'Odham tribe that owns the hotel and casino. More

Desert DIamond is the older of the 2 Tucson Casino Hotels, and it's showing it's age. The hotel is nice, comfortable, and with the players club membership, FREE. Spent 1 night here while traveling AZ, appears to be a fairly new property. Hotel staff were friendly and efficient, no issues with room either. Room was very large (a premium king with balcony).
