This B&B is charming, with wonderful staff, accomodations, breakfast & location. So very easy to downtown if you're willing to take a 20 minutes River Walk stroll. The neighborhood is outstanding with so very many old mansions so well maintained. Such a good value. Check it out.

My husband and I loved the neighborhood of this B&B. The Riverwalk and all its entertainment were in easy (albeit cold in January) walking distance. The King William district, with all the turn of the centuries mansions, made for an interesting afternoon walk. And there are plenty of great restaurants and cafes just a few blocks over. (I highly recommend... More

Beckmann Inn is the perfect place to stay in San Antonio. It is in the historic King William District and just a block to the Pioneer Flour Mill (with a delightful cafe and gift shop.) It is also just a block from the River Walk. You can walk along the river all the way to downtown. In addition to being... More

We recently spent two nights at Beckmann Inn in the King Willliam historical district and found it to be charming and innkeeper, Juliet, a wonderful, thoughtful host. She also makes the best breakfasts! The location is perfect-- across the street from the Guenther House restaurant and a pleasant walk along the river to the bustling River Walk. The self-guided walking... More

We book well in advance on a groupon coupon for a 3 night stay. They were offering either a 2 or 3 night stay on their groupon offer. As we were driving to San Antonio I got a call from the innkeeper who told me we only reserved one night. I thought at the time this was strange as I... More

My hubby and I spent a very relaxing 2 nights here, just to get away and rest. The Inn has a fasinating history and Juliet shared it so well. Our room was large, airy, and comfortable. The other guests were friendly and we all enjoyed Juliet's wonderful breakfast, together. The house is clean and attractive. The wrap around porch was... More

I first stayed at this B&B when it was owned and operated by innkeepers that lived on site. I have recommended it many times as my favorite B&B in the King Williams District. I stayed here again a few months ago and admit that the service wasn't as personal as when the innkeepers were on site. However, the inn is... More

I really enjoyed my stay at the Inn. The Hostess, Juliet, was so down to earth and humble, you can't help but feel you are in your own house. She actually went out of her way to pick us up in the middle of the night from the AMTRAK station (and picked up some food for us as well). I... More

We had a great mother-daughter stay at the inn. Juliet is a warm and gracious hostess, not to mention a gourmet cook! The room was comfortable, the breakfasts delicious, the river one block away, and Juliet made us feel like very special guests. We hope to return and will definitely recommend the inn to our family and friends.

Bad service. Uncomfortable rooms AC didn't work. We actually left in the middle of the night because it was so miserable. Didn't care that we had prepaid for two nights
