Another location name for this hotel is in Balcones, just outside the city. Springhill Suites are one of our favorite motel/motel chains. Relatively inexpensive, well appointed and clean. This was no exception. The staff was kind, helpful and courteous. We were downtown in nothing flat. Can't say that the breakfast was good, however. Overcooked eggs seem to be the norm.

The hotel is older, and the area didn't feel all that safe/great for a female traveling on business alone. However, I have to give props to the staff....they went out of their way to make sure I was quickly taken care of when there was a small room mixup. Close to almost everything, with a Target right next to it (3 minute walk), nice rooms and service. Serves breakfast with coffee and tea, fruit, waffles, cereals, eggs, sausage, etc. I recommend this hotel.

Had a business meeting here and the staff was so kind and helpful. Good job guys for getting us all set up. Thanks even though we didn't stay at your hotel because of a mix up I'm pretty sure we would of enjoyed that as well.

This is an average Springhill Suites. That is not a put-down, because I expect more from a Springhill Suites than from a Days Inn. Stayed one night in San Antonio and found the hotel to be in our price range for the short stay.
