Spent last weekend at the Jailhouse and I highly recommend the place. Plenty of free parking, 2 blocks to town and the visitors center, shops, restaurants and great sights everywhere. The room was clean and nicely appointed, staff more than helpful, just a really nice place to spend a weekend.

This is a charming inn in a convenient location. It's walking distance to Thames Street and the waterfront. The rooms are lovely and the service is lovely. Beware, the breakfasts are only ok. Mostly toast, cereals, store-bought pastries, (cold) hard boiled eggs and odd cold cuts. It's enough to get you to the next meal but it's not that enjoyable.
