No frills, but clean and right near the beach. Staff was helpful and always present. This is great place to sleep and then GO OUT AND SEE HAWAII.

Rather decent budget hotel (but still costing me $88/night) with clean basic rooms but with lukewarm front desk service, except for the caucasian (white) fellow who went out of his way to help me in so many ways. My feet hang 7" over the end of the very hard bed that i layed towels down to sleep on because of the dirty conditions of the room. The doors were falling apart it was just dirty and in bad need of upkeep. I know the price meant it needed to be updated not falling apart and filthy.

the hotel comes more economic than competitors and you get what you pay. The structure is very old, room furnishing is very poor too. The room was very silent however.
The hotel is located at the end of Waikiki beach and next to the Zoo. I personally suggest to stay on the other end, in between Waikiki and downtown.
