Please be aware !!!! I rented through VRBO and paid $115 a night for the 28th floor in Tower 2. I was not told I would not have access to the Lanai!!! Yes, the views were breath taking !!!! But with no access to the Lanai, it just lost took away so much when I was counting on using it... More

This review is for the actual unit we stayed in on the 31st floor (managed by Darmic). Good size one bedroom unit with retractable bedroom walls so you can make it one big open unit which i really liked since we traveled with our toddler. Unit is in major need of updating - the carpet is very old, stained, and... More

The Waikiki Banyan is a two-tower residential condominium complex located about 2 blocks from the beach next to a Hilton and Hyatt. The two towers are both nearly 40 stories tall so the units on the upper floors offer some breathtaking views, especially the ones on in Tower 1 facing toward Diamond Head. The complex is a bit dated, having... More

Two similar reviews will be posted on Tripadvisor for this trip. One review is for the management company and a separate one for the actual hotel/condo at Waikiki Banyan. This review is only for the condo and building experience. We (2 adults - no kids) were here for about 7 weeks (48 nights) on business. We've been to Honolulu/Waikiki many... More

I stayed in tower two and booked a 6 night stay. First off this condo is old and needs an update. From the bed sheets to pillows to the shower and bathroom. Everything in the unit that we stayed in was in bad shape. We decided to stay at a condo because we wanted to be able to cook stuff... More

This was our 5th time in hawaii and this is the first time we rented a condo, the pictures definitely looked a lot better, but my unit said it was newly remodeled but that was probably 10 years ago! The only updated items was the kitchen utensils. The second day we arrived they were doing some renovations on our floor... More

We stayed at the Waikiki Banyan Tower 1 Suite 3702 during our vacation in Oahu. We travelled with a baby, a senior and two tween girls and found the unit comfortable. We used the kitchen mostly for breakfasts but it was well equipt. We made our reservation through Koko Resorts and they provided good customer service. We borrowed a stroller for... More

I had a one bedroom unit. It had a beautiful ocean view. It had a nice kitchen with granite countertops. Flat top stove and full size refrigerator. The management company I rented from gave me a super price for one week and left m a wonderful gift basket in the unit. Full of cookies, candy, coffee and other Hawaiian goodies.... More

This was a last minute find and turned out to be a gem. The location is fantastic...not too noisy compared to other locations we've stayed in Waikiki. The sixth floor BBQ and pool area was a nice bonus as well as the free parking that was included in our one bedroom suite 704-T2. We rented from a private owner thru... More

Our first trip to Hawaii and my only disappointment was the room. The room smelled stale. The hide-a-bed was broken, the roll away bed they brought in, my son said he could feel every spring. No blow dryer, had to call and ask for one. There were basic kitchen pots and pans but no frying pans or a toaster. And... More
