We recently stayed at Royal Kuhio with our 2 teenage children in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit over looking Waikiki Beach. The unit was clean and spacious and included a full kitchen, and the proximity to the beach and shopping centres was excellent. We were pleasantly surprised and would stay here again.

This resort is not spectacular but it does have a full kitchen so you can make a few meals versus eating out the entire time you are in Oahu. We did like the proximity to the beach and the market. Overall we would stay again for the cost.

The property is out dated, and there really isn't a view available. However, it is in a great location. It's a great place to stay close to Waikiki beach for a good price. No beach views, as it is a few blocks away, but we didn't spend any time in our room anyway! Don't expect housekeeping unless you stay for at least a week, but the room was clean and had extra towels, blankets and pillows.
