Hostelling international Waikiki is in the prime spot for a great time in Hawaii. I was a little disappointed by the cleanliness and facilities at the hostel but the low price and great location made up for it. Would recommend to those who plan to only sleep at the hostel as the kitchen and communal areas aren't too flash.

Okay remember this is a hostel not a five star hotel. I felt safer here than I did staying in a cheap hotel. No visitors are allowed and you need to have a key or ring the door bell to get in. I mean $25 a night in Waikiki and 2 minutes walk from the hostel to the beautiful beach, that's insane. Tons of stores, restaurants around, and the shopping street, I don't know the name, but it's perfect for shopping.
