The hotel room was upgraded to an ocean view by someone in reservations. The view was spectacular. We rented a car and felt the conceirge desk would have preferred that we book our tours through their services, not very helpful at all. Best advice we received was from our rent a car agent at the airport. Three wonderful places for... More

Preface: I booked a studio for 3 days for myself. When my friend arrived I moved to a 1-bedroom for a week. See my other review for the 1-bedroom. Service/Staff: Accommodating. Polite, but not particularly outgoing, warm or friendly. Occasionally a single person at the front desk could not efficiently handle the line of guests. Amenities: Good weight room, sauna... More

Stayed for seven nights with family (2 aduts, 2 teenagers). One bedroom with fold down bed in lounge was cosy, but as the location was excellent, we didn't spend a lot of time in the room. Roof top pool was good, as was the bar / lounge on level 27, especially for a viewing the Friday night fireworks from the... More

We just stayed 9 days in the hotel in a one bedroom Banyan suite on an exchange through Interval International. It is not a 4 star hotel by any means and is pretty outdated to say the least but the room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. The location is one of the best in Waikiki and close... More

I booked this hotel for my daughter and her friend as it was in close proximity to the beach and across the road from where we were staying at the Embassy. For the price paid ($111 + taxes and service fee) it offered a good budget alternative. I stayed one night when my daughter was ill to look after her.... More

Only stayed here one night but the place was a good value. The elevator was high tech but when I walked into the room, seems like the kitchen was stuck in the 80s. Ancient oven, decent microwave and fridge, Wicker furniture. Some parts of the bathroom seemed unclean- it was bearable. More

I have recently stayed at the Imperial for 5 nights and i must say, although my first night's experience was less than ideal, the subsequent 4 night stay definitely made up for it Pros - excellent location - behind the Halekulani and at the doorstep of wonderful restaurants on Lewers street/Beachwalk ( eg Roys), you can't beat this place for... We love to travel! And we love a good hotel. This was not the best place we've stayed but it was very good. The room was big enough and the ammenities were acceptable. The price was excellent and we were right in the thick of the Waikiki night life, close to the beach and a million places to eat. The... More

This was my first trip to Hawaii. I can't imagine a better location to enjoy all that Oahu has to offer than the Imperial. It is located right next to the Beachwalk, and within easy walking distance of numerous restaurants and world class shopping. Views from the lower floors are limited, but the owner's lounge and surrounding balconies on the... More
