The main lodge is wonderful, the cafeteria has excellent, reasonable food..the staff is accomodating..but the cabins are small and worn out. We had booked a "double" cabin w/ a single double bed as nothing else was available. As soon as I saw it I knew I couldn't spend four nights there. Way too small, carpets stained..privacy non-existent.Sink outside main bathroom..none... More

Although the date says November, we actually traveled in August 2010 (I waited too long to write the review...) The four stars are primarily based on the stunning and convenient location and the people. We found that, to a person, every one of the staff that we came in contacgt with were very friendly and helpful. The cabin was ok,... More

The location cannot be beat as all cabins are a short distance from Old Faithful with some overlooking the Firehole River. Even though we had made a reservation in January, we could not get one of the cabins with a private bathroom. The public facilities were close by, though, and very clean -- we did not encounter any waits. Our... More

Cute cabin with all what in a cabin should be. Not a luxus suite but a cabin has to be not luxury. It was all clean. More

Stayed 2 nights in May 2011 in cabin with ensuite. Heavy snowfalls and power outages (extended) were overcome by the friendly staff. Cabins were adequate for National park, Lodge facilities also good. Cafeteria provides cheap high volume food; for higher class eating and facilities look elsewhere (to the Old Faithful Inn for example) More

We stayed two nights in one of the cabins without a restroom - there was a sink, desk and two beds. The accommodations are simple and just what you need - since you are there to sightsee and experience the park there is no need for TV, couches, etc. The restroom building was within easy walking distance. It was very... More

We stayed in the cabins for one night at the beginning of September. When we first arrived, we were greeted by a very nice lady on Reception, who confirmed that (as a party of 3) we had been allocated adjoining cabins as requested. She even lent us a flashlight to navigate around the area after dark. Our cabins were perfectly... More

We arrived around 1 pm and out room was ready. We had a room with an ensuite bath in the main lodge. We were taken to our room and found it to be just the pictures showed. We actually looked out on the 2nd floor 'balcony' where everyone sits to watch Old Faithful. During our 3 nights there we found the... More

The cabins at Old Faithful Lodge are a convenient though basic accomodation. The room has the bare necessities but if you are exploring Yellowstone, there is nothing greater than staying within the park. Old Faithful is steps away, there are other hot springs/geysers to explore at the site and the food, gift shop and store are quite good. I would... More

We stayed in a cabin here for 2 nights of our yellowstone vacation and were overall very satisfied with the experience. Our cabin was only steps from Old Faithful itself, so the location couldn't be beat. We liked the convenience of staying in the Old Faithful village. Even though our cabin was adjacent to another unit (with several people staying... More
