Great place to stay for the experience, clean reasonable size rooms, lots of nature around you. Make sure you have a drink in the Mountain Bar and the dinner meal in the Mountain Dining Room was awesome, and the service was just as good. Do the valley floor tour. Yosemite is beautiful. Don't stay at the Lodge if you need an Internet connection. The Lodge advertises a "wireless connection." I teach an online course and depended on this advertisement. Each page took about 15 minutes to load. After 2 days of "tech support" and clueless employees, I figured out that the Lodge has a 54 Mbps connection at best.... more
