“Our favourite place to stay”

We visit Stowmarket regularly. We always find that Verandah House provides for us in every way with a warm welcome, interesting room, comfortable bed and the best breakfast possible. It is also feels a safe and reliable place to stay when travelling alone.

“Lovely place to stay”

My family and I stayed for one night on a Saturday and can say that we were extremely happy with our stay. “Always a warm welcome in this B&B”

As a group of 4-6 teachers of a Dutch secondary school, we've lodged here many times on our annually trips to England. Each time we have enjoyed our stays, the warm welcomes, cozy rooms and especially the food. We recommend this house to those who appreciate old style and modern efficiency.

We welcome any feedback that can try improve our way of doing things but sometimes it can prove impossible, i.e. stairs being a little steep, we are talking about a listed house that was build in 1702 and structurally cannot be changed!
