We arrived at Trapani airport and had a 45 minute drive to Alcamo. We started off badly as the coach could not pass from the hotel street and we had to walk with our luggages, uphill, for about 10 minutes.
Lobby is very small and the receptionist area is just enough to hold a computer and some papers. All staff...

This was the greatest bargain in our 10 day Italy vacation. We had some happy surprises and some less than happy ones in the 8 hotels we used on the trip. The Hotel Centrale is a beautiful gem of a place. They have about 25 rooms and cater mostly to a business clientele. We had a king sized bed and...

We have just returned from staying at the Hotel Centrale in Alcamo for two nights. Both the rooms and the restaurant were excellent. We usually like to go out and try different places to eat but ended up having two very good meals at the hotel's restaurant. Be warned however that the portions are very generous.

I was not disappointed at all. Very large rooms, bathroom was beautiful, they even had a blow dryer.
The hotel restaurant is elegant and fantastic and I suggest you try...

Alcamo itself we fell in love with, a real delight - unpretentious, the piazza, just a short walk away from the hotel was lovely for an early evening aperitivo or mid morning espresso and pastry.
The traffic is a...

My husband and I absolutely loved this hotel. It is beautiful... lots of attention paid to detail, gorgeous rooms, wonderful food, exceptional staff (especially David, who speaks very good English, and was always available to answer questions, make recommendations, give directions, etc).
The town is very charming and the people are incredibly friendly (and although few speak English, it is...

The hotel is a very nice noble palace in a less known part of Sicily. Alcamo is an old city with a medieval castle and churches also in barocco style. Segesta is really easy to get. The restaurant of the hotel offers a very high quality services... sicilian food is great. The hotel is tree star class (not very expencive),...
